Southwold Pier beach is one of the Suffolk dog friendly beaches with fantastic shops, food dishes and other eatables. There is cafe, restaurants at the beach to have morning cafe or breakfast and in the afternoon we can have lunch too

About Southwold beach history :

Southwold having great history factors from 1890 on-wards, so individuals get interested in this position. It was granted by Henry VII of Royal Charter in 1489 stands as a most popular resorts in East Anglia.  The magnificent cathedral with 100 feet located in the center place and nearby there is lighthouse with 100 feet tall offering safe passage for fisherman, sailors since 1890. The historic legacy of Southwold was sea-battle that  happened during 17th century AD as thousands of people were lost in the battle. The place still covers with some of the battle weapons, Gun hill, 6 Cannons that are used during the war.  Southwold is not just for historic things, but it is for latest beach facilities too.
